• Design Participation
Do you want our help with concept or collaboration? Our goal is to do what's in your best interest. We can bring our talented team together to do a complete design/build from start to finish. If you already have a design, we're happy to assist you and your architect in determining the most cost-effective construction strategies.
• Constructability Reviews
How easy or difficult will it be to build? At any stage in the design process, we can look at initial and long-term costs to determine what type of construction suits your needs. We'll even perform value engineering of different materials to help you build within your budget.
• Site Evaluation
Will this site support the building? PHC can evaluate your entire site for construction feasibility, or help you determine which site best suits the building you want to build. If needed, we can bring in geotechnical services, traffic consultants and utilities services. We can also help you navigate unfamiliar land use codes, setbacks, and critical areas.
• Sustainability/LEED
Are there LEED or Built Green goals for the project? Our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals can tailor your building to meet any certification goal. We start with your Basis of Design, a fundamental requirement of LEED, and from that determine the certification level you can achieve without altering your budget.
• Conceptual Cost Estimating
Do you envision a round glass structure or square solid walls? The devil is in the details if you don't know how much it costs to build something. Give us an idea of the square footage, level of finish, and the end use of your building, and we'll give you an estimate that helps you make it a reality.
• Lender Liaison
Does your lender want to meet everyone involved in the project? In today's economy, good lender relations are more important than ever. By meeting face to face with lenders, we can give them the assurances they need to finance loans -- especially effective with SBA funding.
• Cost Estimating
Are you concerned about cost overruns? As your project moves along in the design process, we work to perfect the cost of building based on drawings, specifications, and the current market price of materials and trades. The result is a more accurate total value of the construction costs so you don't have to worry about going over budget.
• Bid Procurement
Do you need assurance that your project can be built within your budget? We'll get the hard quotes to perfect your budget by managing the solicitation, qualification and selection of sub trades and/or material suppliers for the project.
