Marty Sievertson

With over thirty years of local building experience, Marty brings a wealth of practical hands-on know-how and creative problem solving talent to any construction project. He began his career in the mid-seventies working as a field laborer for after school and summer employment. After graduation with a B.S. in Construction Management from Washington State University, Marty spent the next five years building custom homes throughout the West Sound. From 1986 through 2001, Marty was an active partner in Drury Construction, and as senior project manager, responsible for the successful completion of Bainbridge Library additions, Grace Episcopal Church, The San Juan Building, Lynwood Commons and numerous office buildings, banks and medical clinics. In early 2000 Marty was a founding member of Pacific Heights Construction, created to address a multi-family market niche. He has completed such projects as the national award winning Vineyard Lane Development, Campbell Way Townhomes, Island Commons, Crista Shores Retirement Community renovation, Snowberry Bungalows, Janet West Home apartments. Marty is active in his community and is a past president of Bainbridge Island Kiwanis Club. He has also volunteered his time to the Board for the Joint Apprenticeship Training Council, the Marge Williams Memorial Office Center Building Committee, the Bainbridge Island Library Board and is now working toward construction of a rural school in Kenya. Marty is currently studying for certification as a LEED AP.
